Commemoration of the Teacher's Day

This ceremony was held by the Society of Iran Southern Nomadic Graduates in Shiraz.
At the beginning, Bahmanbeigi was welcomed by flowers around his neck and took his seat while chatting with his pupils. After the recital of Quran, Esmail Ahmadi ,one his pupils, took the podium to welcome the audience and spoke about the difficulties and barriers that Bahmanbeigi had defeated to educate the nomadic tribes. He called the ceremony not a mere appreciation for Bahmanbeigi and his colleagues but an admiration of the significant change in the lives of every single nomadic child.
The ceremony was hosted by Amrollah Farhadi, one of Bahmanbeigi's pupils. He introduced the speakers and the ceremony. His former pupils took the podium one by one praising him and talking about the challenges he had faced including the low level of literacy, the lifestyle of nomadic population, etc. Farhadi started another speech mentioning Bahmanbeigi's love and passion for his land and two great people who were mesmerized by Bahmanbeigi's thoughts and goals; Jahangir Shahbazi and Ali Mohammad Nezami, Nomadic Education Deputy Manager and Principal of Nomadic High school.
A number of speakers took the podium and talked about Bahmanbeigi and his services and Mahmood Kaviani, one of his pupils, recited an enchanting poem in Turkish titled "What if Ghareghaj Never Existed".
It was Bahmanbeigi's turn to indulge his pupils with his speech. He read a note first which was published later in one of his books. He explained how he managed to overcome various challenges and obstacles. In his speech he mentioned two names; Seyyed Kazem Mousavi whose testimony saved his life and Karim Fatemi whose assistance helped him be successful at Nomadic Education.
Later a letter of commendation was read and presented to Bahmanbeigi and his colleagues Shahbazi, Nezami, Khosravi Nejad, Javidi, Tavakoli, Fereydooni, Rahimi and Ejdehakosh.
At the end of the ceremony Jahangir Shahbazi requested to give a short speech. He thanked the audience and praised Bahmanbegi calling him the First Teacher of nomads. He talked about the difficult lives of nomadic people and the solution which was their education. He, then, hoped that Bahmanbeigi's path would be continued by others.
